The controller and black box are protected against dust and water spray. Like the M704, the CMS5 benefits from a robust Linux operating system and an ARM9 CPU. It also supports the J1939 Bus so it can be controlled by the boat’s multi-functional display.
The IPX6 rated CMS2 is also a two piece system with a display commander and a hide-away black box receiver. It is designed to be easily mounted in a number of ways as it too is able to sustain moisture and water spray from multiple directions. CMS2 has a 3-line full DOT matrix backlit LCD display providing easy to read information, a built-in Bluetooth receiver for stereo audio streaming along with comparable digital media playback compatibility just like the CMS5.
The new MW4 is a wired marine remote control featuring a 2.8-inch color optically bonded LCD display.
