Cypress, Calif. (January 8, 2013) – Clarion Corporation of America, a leader in consumer and industrial mobile electronics, announced today the introduction of two all-new high performance Class D amplifiers for the 2013 model year. The new products offer exceptional performance, sophisticated styling, and several technologically advanced features.
The new line includes a 6-Channel and a 4-Channel model. Both feature full range top-rated Class D amplifiers, sleek new cosmetics, and ultimate flexibility with compact designs that makes them ideal for multiple automotive and marine applications. Both amplifiers feature electronic crossovers and a PWM MOS-FET power supply.
The 6-channel XC6610 offers corrosion resistant ABYC compliant connectors and meets or exceeds ASTM D4329 for UV exposure. The new 4-channel micro-sized XC1410 is constructed from highly durable material and is one of the smallest 4 channel Class D amplifiers in the market. It is just one and a half times the width of a smartphone, which makes it ideal for Motorcycle and powersports applications.
